Drives sales and creates a positive experience for customers through relationships, product knowledge and operational execution. Maintain a great looking store, interact with customers on the salesfloor and utilize technology to assist in the shopping experience.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. “Smiles and Says Hi!” Greets all customers and associates, assists in a friendly, courteous manner and adheres to the “Yes We Can” policy efficiently resolving customer's questions and requests
2. Consistently uses the 5 step GREAT program while interacting with customers: Greets and Engages Customer, Requests Credit, Explains Savings, Asks to Complete the Survey and Thanks the Customer
3. Able to learn and adapt to current technology to assist customer needs
4. Maintains fitting rooms, sales floor and work areas according to Kohl's best practices
5. Flexible and willing to cross-train and work in other areas of the store, as needed

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

1. Ability to lift 50 pounds on an occasional to frequent basis
2. Ability to spend up to 100% of work time standing or moving about the departments. Physical activities include bending, stooping, lifting, climbing, carrying, walking and/or reaching on a frequent basis
3. Adherence to Kohl's policy and procedures
4. Regular attendance
5. Effective verbal and written communication skills
6. Basic math and reading skills, legible handwriting and attention to detail
7. Ability to work as part of a team and interact effectively with others

PREFERRED

1. Prior retail experience
2. Comfortable with the use of technology consistently while performing the required tasks
