Job Purpose:
To provide pre and post-sales technical application support for Autodesk products to Datech’s customers in order to drive customer engagement and sales growthResponsibilities:
- Support the profitability of the Datech division through the provision of value added services to the Value Added Reseller (VAR) channel
- Provide demonstrations, seminars, webinars and associated support services to customers
- Become an industry expert and trusted advisor for the allocated product group
- Provide application / technical support to the VAR channel
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendor and resellers on technical issues
- Deliver end user training to support VAR channel as required
- Support the Datech business with information on technical aspects for allocated product group
- Maintain Datech demonstration facilities & equipment
- Provide professional onsite services to support the VAR business when required
Knowledge Skills and Experience:
- Appropriate Autodesk application software knowledge for product group
- Appropriate industry experience for product group
- Experience in support or troubleshooting Autodesk software
- Presentation skills
- Knowledge of computer and network systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and social media tools
- Must have strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to interpret technical questions
- Strong customer service skills with excellent verbal and written communication; ability to communicate complex technical details coherently
- Commercial awareness
- Good relationship building
