Solution Architect - Microsoft Cloud Solutions at Bracknell, United Kingdom
Job Purpose:
Working with the Tech Data CSP Microsoft team internally and externally to support the accelerated growth of partners and their customers through the design and delivery of Microsoft Cloud solutions.Accountabilities:
- Deal with daily product/solution inquiries from internal/external sales and resellers.
- Engage with end-users and resellers to help define appropriate Microsoft Cloud solutions to meet customer needs.
- Deliver sales and technical Microsoft Cloud training and enablement internally and externally
- Support internal and external sales teams to deliver professional quotes in line with defined service level agreements (SLA’s).
- Maintain technical accreditations and develop more extensive industry knowledge to a highly competent level.
- Develop and manage customer relationships with appropriate contacts.
- Co-own and project manage the technical elements of sales opportunities to successful closure.
- Conduct customer site visits (reseller and end-user).
- Deliver sales and technical enablement training internally to Tech Data sales teams or externally to the reseller base
- Respond to queries or customer care issues promptly.
- Communicate product and technology information to the relevant audience
- Utilize the Business Solution Centre (BSC) to support sales activity and improve partner utilization rates.
Knowledge Skills and Experience:
- AZ-103 or working towards competency
- Previous experience of Office 365, Enterprise Mobility and Security and Windows 10
- Experience of SAP R3, Compass and Business Warehouse is desirable
- Prior experience of E-business systems.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, priority management, and planning skills.
- IT industry knowledge – Channel, Vendors, Competition, and End User.
- Existing broad knowledge of product and technology portfolios as relevant to the business unit
- Salary - £54,000 OTE £67,500 plus Car Allowance. The role can be based in Bracknell or Basingstoke.
